Mumbai: Popular actress and dancer Shefali Jariwala, best known for her appearance in the iconic 2005 remix song Kanta Laga, passed away at the age of 42 following a sudden heart attack late Friday night.
According to sources, Shefali complained of severe chest pain around midnight. Her husband immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital. However, doctors confirmed that she had passed away by the time they arrived.
Shefali rose to nationwide fame with the Kanta Laga remix video and later appeared in several films. She also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 13, where she further strengthened her fan base with her confident and charismatic personality.
