Fakealert: Hyderabad Cracks Down on 8 Fake Doctors: TGMC

Hyderabad: In a major crackdown, the Telangana State Medical Council (TGMC) has identified eight fake doctors operating illegally in Hyderabad without valid medical qualifications. These individuals were allegedly treating patients and prescribing powerful medications such as antibiotics, steroids, painkillers, and IV fluids, thereby endangering public health.

The operation was conducted in the areas of Bowrampet, Dundigal, and Suraram, where the council found unauthorized clinics administering unregulated medical treatments.

Acting on credible information, TGMC Vice Chairman Dr. G. Srinivas, along with council member Dr. Vishnu and a team of officials, conducted surprise inspections at the following centers:

  • Orange Clinic – S.K. Nagul Meera
  • BLR Clinic – Dr. P. Suryalatha
  • Nani Mini Hospital – K. Venkatesh
  • Sri Sai First Aid Center – Y. Suryanarayana
  • Sri Srinivasa First Aid Center – Shiva Shankar
  • Balaji Clinic – Ch. Vittal
  • Nandushwar First Aid Center – Shankar Goud
  • Mastan First Aid Center – S.K. Mastan

TGMC officials confirmed that criminal cases under NMC (National Medical Commission) regulations will be filed against the accused.

The council has appealed to the public to report any information regarding fake medical practitioners via WhatsApp at 91543 82727, encouraging civic participation in safeguarding public health.
