Hyderabad: A tragic incident has come to light where a young woman was found hanging in a room at an OYO hotel.
The woman, identified as Anusha (26) from Nalgonda district, had reportedly gone to a hotel with friends for a party. The next morning, when the room door was opened, she was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
Anusha had been living with her parents after separating from her husband due to marital disputes. She was working as a beautician.
On June 22nd, Anusha informed her family that she was visiting a friend’s house but failed to return. Concerned, her parents lodged a missing person complaint with the police.
Later, information was received that a woman had died by suicide at the Cuba OYO in Raidurgam, Hyderabad. Police reached the scene and identified the deceased as Anusha.
However, Anusha’s family suspects foul play and has alleged that she may have been murdered and the scene staged as a suicide. Based on their complaint, police have registered a case and are investigating the incident thoroughly.
