Chennai: In a shocking development, a senior treasury manager associated with the Tirumala Milk Dairy allegedly took his own life amidst a high-stakes investigation into a ₹40 crore money laundering case.
The deceased, identified as Naveen Bolineni, 37, a native of Visakhapatnam, was found hanging in a private shed located in Britannia Nagar, Madhavaram, Chennai. Naveen was serving as the Treasury Manager at the Tirumala Dairy unit based in Chennai.
According to sources, Naveen was reportedly under intense pressure and anxiety over imminent arrest, after being named in an ongoing probe concerning the alleged laundering of ₹40 crore. Authorities believe the fear of arrest may have driven him to take this extreme step.
Preliminary reports suggest that prior to his death, Naveen sent emails to his mother, close friends, and relatives, detailing the reasons behind his decision. The contents of these messages are currently being reviewed by investigating officers.
Law enforcement officials are continuing their probe into the case. Forensic teams have collected evidence from the scene, while digital communications and financial records linked to Naveen and the company are under scrutiny.
